What is Complete Anatomy?
Complete Anatomy is an anatomical learning and teaching platform for students, educators, institutions, and professionals. In this interactive application, you can view and manipulate 3D human anatomy models across 12 body systems, explore physiological features, and create your own in-app content.


Note: The Complete Anatomy app is strictly for use by students from "Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy" and all current staff.

Account Registration & Activation
Activate the mobile app by following the steps below:
  1. GET STARTED to create a free Complete Anatomy account with your SFU email address (“@sfu.edu.hk” or “@mail.sfu.edu.hk”). If you already have an Elsevier account, click "Sign in".

  2. If you create an account for the first time, a verification email will be sent to your registered email address. Follow the link in the email to verify.

  3. Go to Complete Anatomy app and navigate to "SETTINGS". Under "MY ACCOUNT" tab, you will see a Redeem Code area. Enter the 12-digit Institutional Activation Code and select "REDEEM".

    Note: The Complete Anatomy app is strictly for use by students from "Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy" and all current staff.

What is 華藝中文電子書 Airiti Books?
Airiti Books is one of the largest Traditional-Chinese ebook platforms in the world, covering a collection of over 3,000 library-owned books in digitized format across a wide range of subject disciplines, including humanities, business, language, design and more. It also provides access to leisure publications suitable for general readers.

Account Registration & Activation
Activate the mobile app by following the steps below:
  1. Connect your mobile device to the SFU Wi-Fi network. Please refer to the connection procedures available on the ITSC's SharePoint.
     

  2. Open the installed "eXross edu (書紐教育版)" app and tap “Add library”.
     
     
     
  3. Enter the institution name as "Saint Francis University". Choose your institution and log in.
     
      

  4. Register as an Airiti member.
     
      

  5. Enter the required information. It is recommended that you use your institutional email address as your username. Enter your SFU email address (“@sfu.edu.hk / @mail.sfu.edu.hk”).
     

  6. A confirmation email will be sent to you. Please click the activation button to enable your account.
     

  7. You can now login and browse the e-books online or borrow them for offline reading. However, you will need to open the app via the SFU Wi-Fi network every 180 days to extend the access.
     
      

Note: The loan policy and the number of users being permitted to access the e-books concurrently vary from title to title. Should you have any queries, please feel free to contact the Library.

Produced by McGraw Hill, AccessAPN, AccessMedicine, AccessPharmacy, AccessPhysiotherapy and F. A. Davis PT Collection support learning and research in nursing, medicine, pharmacy and physiotherapy.


AccessAPN (Access Advanced Practice Nursing) provides a plethora of authoritative nursing titles, cases, and video content spanning from evidence-based practice and clinical information to personal development and leadership topics. 

AccessMedicine provides authoritative texts, videos and animations in internal medicine, cardiology, genetics, pharmacy, and patient care. 

AccessPharmacy provides students in pharmaceutical dispensing with access to drug information, cases, videos, and leading pharmacy textbooks. 

AccessPhysiotherapy is a comprehensive online physiotherapy resource that integrates leading physical therapy textbooks, NPTE related self-assessment questions, procedure and exercise videos, images and a unique cadaver dissection tool. 


F.A. Davis PT Collection integrates pre-eminent titles in the field of physiotherapy education, accompanied by case studies and a comprehensive multimedia library.

Activate the mobile app by following the steps below:
  1. Connect your mobile device to the SFU / CBCC Wi-Fi network. Please refer to the connection procedures available on the ITSC's SharePoint.


  2. Click "Create Profile" to sign up for a free McGraw Hill account.


  3. Enter the institution name as "Saint Francis University"


  4. It is recommended that you use your institutional email address for registration. Enter your SFU / CBCC email account (“@sfu.edu.hk” or “@mail.cbcc.edu.hk” etc.).


  5. Create password and enter the required information


  6. You can now access the full content of the mobile app. Please note that off-campus access is also available. However, you will need to open the app via the SFU / CBCC Wi-Fi network every 90 days to extend the access.

What is ClinicalKey Student?
ClinicalKey Student (Physiotherapy Package) is an interactive education platform that supports teaching and learning with a wide range of physiotherapy content, including over 65 physiotherapy textbooks, more than 14,000 high resolution images and over 435 videos.

Create a personal account by following the steps below:
  1. Visit https://ezproxy.cihe.edu.hk/login?url=https://www.clinicalkey.com/student
     
  2. Click "Register here" to register for an Elsevier account

     
  3. Fill in the required fields and click "Register". Please use your institutional email address for account registration.

     
  4. A confirmation email will be sent to you
Adding Books to Bookshelf
  1. Visit https://ezproxy.cihe.edu.hk/login?url=https://www.clinicalkey.com/student and login with your registered account
     
  2. Enter keywords to search for the books

     
  3. Click on the book which you would like to add to your bookshelf

     
  4. Click "Add to Bookshelf"

     
  5. The book is added to your bookshelf successfully. Click "View in Bookshelf" for online reading.
Offline Reading via Mobile App (ClinicalKey Student Bookshelf)
  1. Open the installed "ClinicalKey Student Bookshelf" app
     
  2. Login to the app with your registered ClinicalKey Student account
     
     
  3. Click the menu

     
  4. Click "Update Library". You can now read the books that are added to the bookshelf. Offline reading is also available.
     
     
  5. You can now access the full content of the mobile app. Please note that off-campus access is also available. However, you will need to open the app via the SFU / CBCC Wi-Fi network every 180 days to extend the access.

What is Ebook Central Reader (EBC) App?
The Ebook Central Reader (EBC) App is a desktop app for reading downloaded ebooks from the Ebook Central platform. The EBC App supports EPUB and PDF formats. It enables users to manage their loans and devices. The app is available on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
 
Download & Install the EBC App
Download and activate the EBC App by following the steps below:

1. Access the Ebook Central via web browser.
 

 
Click on “Profile” in your Ebook Central Account. Select “Manage” next to “EBC APP DEVICES”. The EBC App can be downloaded on up to 6 devices. Each device must be registered. 
 

 
 2. On the “Manage Your Devices” page, click on “Download the App”.

3. Select the preferred version of app (Windows, macOS, iOS or Android) to install. Follow the required instructions for installation. 
 

4. After downloading the app on your device, go back to the “Manage Your Devices” page and click on “Get Registration Code” to obtain the code. This registration code is for registering your EBC App after you have downloaded it. Each registration code can be used once and for registering a specific device only. For an extra device, another code needs to be generated for registration. 
5. Open the app on your device, enter the registration code and click on “Submit”.
 
 
Download an ebook
           
Download an ebook by following the steps below:
 
1. Choose a book and click on “Download Book” or “Download” to get a full copy of the ebook for offline reading.
 

For books that cannot be downloaded, click on “Read Online” or choose to download the book chapters in PDF.

2. Confirm the loan length. (3-day loan length applies for books with limited copies available and 30-day loan length applies for books with unlimited access.)

3. The book will then be added to your bookshelf in the EBC App on the device(s) you have installed the app.
 

 
Read a book in the EBC App
Read a book in the EBC App by following the steps below:
 
1. Choose to view the book(s) in “My Bookshelf” in either the thumbnail view or the list view. Click on “Download” and then “Read” to begin reading in the app.

2. In “My Bookshelf”, check if a book has been expired, its expiry date and the book downloading status. Downloaded books expire automatically when the loan periods end. Removing downloads only deletes the ebook files from your device, but the loan records and periods remain active.
